The Bennet Sisters (Pride & Prejudice)

The Bennet Sisters (Pride & Prejudice) by Holly Ervin

I am such a sucker for a good romance.  And really wonderful sibling portrayals.  And period pieces...and pretty much anything written by Jane Austen.  It was about time.

Drawlloween Challenge Day 24: Mechanical Monstrosity

Have you seen this movie?  Did you know it has a ton of parallels to the fairy tale "Bluebeard?"  Well, it does and that's neat.

Draculaura (Monster High)

Draculaura (Monster High) by Holly Ervin

I went ahead and painted my drawing of Draculaura from last week.  I needed a break from constantly coming up with new things to draw for these Drawlloween challenges and I think this helped to get me back in the right mindset.

Drawlloween Challenge Day 19: Witchcraft Wednesday

As soon as I heard 'witch' I started to draw an original character, hated it and started over on this.  Fairuza Balk is really hard to draw (in my style?)!  I can't wait to try again.  :)

Drawlloween Challenge Day 10: Demonday

Have you ever seen this movie?  I love stuff like this!

Sally (Nightmare Before Christmas)

So, here's my obligatory Halloween-themed art.  I'd wanted to color this sketch for a while, and I'm pretty happy with her.  My version of Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Labyrinth Worm Sketch!

I got the sudden urge to draw this worm at work the other day.  How do these things occur?  So I went home and watched the movie (The Labyrinth) and this little dude appeared.  Ello!
